Now, that I have counter tops I have the kitchen functional.  Here is the inaugural gumbo dish in preparation.

These archive images are are mine, in the physical form, but they also belong to every one.   I have them under the creative commons license. Only cause I can't figure out how to licenses them under public domain.  Please consider these to be public domain.  I also urge any one that has prints, photos, or the like from prior to 1923 to do the right thing and make them available to everyone.  Which means if any one needs a better copy please contact me.  Also if you have prints that you would liked them scanned I will help if I can. My only cost on this is that they are made available to the public and I get a digital copy.  There is no need to lock our own history away from our selves.

I've decided to go through chronologically for the details.  Mainly because that is how I have it in my journal and how I'm uploading the pictures.  This way breaks up some sites thought, like the national gallery which I went to 3 time to see it all.

Well the first order of business once getting out was to find the Hard Rock Cafe. It was around the corner literally from the hotel so we had food covered, and very well too.
